You will come to Shutdown Corner, we want to help. So once every seven days, we'll go in and examine a team coming off a negative week, bad month, why not a bad decade, and find out what fixes can be produced to show round the season. So step aside, we have got this. Next beneath microscope: the Minnesota Vikings.
Current status: 1-5, dead last from the NFC North.
What's gone right: Well, the Vikings use a win, which will keep them on the dreaded 0-16 conversation. But that is about it. And that win didn't even appear in this hemisphere, as Minnesota took out your equally winless-at-the-time Steelers london. For the plus side, Minnesota is undefeated in Europe.
better, ranking 25th overall and 24th in passing. So when you may have Adrian Peterson with your team, ranking 19th in rushing is damn near a war crime. The quarterback situation is a garbage fire. Other than that, everything's great.
What we'd fix: The person under center. The Vikings made the suitable move by obtaining Josh Freeman, who's an upgrade over Christian Ponder. The situation was, they rushed Freeman to the lineup before he was ready, got him overmatched and concussed on Monday night, and could have shattered his confidence beyond repair. Combine by investing in the belief that Ponder got benched on short notice, so he's chaos, and, well. there's not much to create on, will there be? Hell, trade Peterson away for any raft of draft picks and go for a rebuilding year. Or half-decade.
The trail ahead: The Vikings' next five games include Green Bay twice, Seattle, Washington, and Dallas. It is possible that the Vikings will likely be underdogs atlanta divorce attorneys single considered one of their final 10 games. Quite simply, as ugly as it is now, it will relapse.
Will there be hope?: No. Sorry, Minnesota fans. Absolutely nothing is inside the immediate future that appears promising. You can get involved for the "Play Dead for Ted" sweepstakes for Teddy Bridgewater. Beyond that, we can't allow you to.
